Corvettes are famous for having a series of “spider” cracks on the fiberglass or factory urethane front nose or bumper cover. These cracks are often caused by the slight bumping of the back end of another car or wall of the garage. Lets face it – finding the front end of your Corvette can be a little difficult when driving – depending on your height, seeing over those fenders can be quite difficult. To solve the problem AND protect your Corvette’s front bumper and/or paint – the front bumper protector is a heavy piece of urethane designed to mount to the factory front license plate holder. The urethane will extrude beyond the front bumper cover just enough to protect your bumper and paint in the case of a slight front-end collision.Note: 1973-1974 Corvettes will require the use of the factory style front license bracket for installation. Can not be used on 1980-1982 Corvettes.
