Until recently the only choice for replacing damaged C6 Corvette headlight lenses was to buy a whole new headlight assembly from GM. And with costs well over $1000.00 per side – this was not an attractive option for Corvette owners. Now you can replace the lens with our reproduction 2005-2013 Corvette headlight lenses and spend your money on something more important…..such as a new exhaust system or a set of performance brakes!Reproduction headlight lenses fit perfectly and include a proprietary coating for lasting protection – unlike the coating from GM; which has obviously not provided the intended protection to keep your Corvette’s factory headlight lenses from “fogging” up. Sold in pairs. DOT approved.Replacing your own headlight lenses is not for the faint of heart. Lenses must be removed from their housing. Zip recommends 3M urethane seam sealer for lens installation to housing. This product provides outstanding sealing and adhesion similar to original compound. See Zip# MG-245 for recommended sealant. Headlight housing seals are available to complete re-installation. See Zip# HDL-374.Zip also recommends replacing your headlight adjustment rod clips at the same time as your lenses. One or more of these clips are almost always found to be broken when the lenses are removed and it is only a matter of time before they will brake. When this happens it causes the bulb to shake while driving, not holding adjustment postion. See Zip# HDL-446. Not quite so DIY?
